Daniel Shats, M.D., M.B.A. was raised in Toronto, Canada where he pursued studies in economics and marketing prior to attending medical school at Ross University. Dr. Shats completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology & liver diseases at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Camden, NJ. Dr. Shats has a special interest in colonoscopy, polyp removal, advanced therapeutic ERCP and endoscopic management of bariatric surgery complications. A member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Shats boasts an adenoma detection rate of 45%. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending free time with his wife and two young children.
