DEPARTMENT Utilization Management
JOB TITLE RN
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure in State of West Virginia. At least 2 years clinical experience. Prefer a solid understanding of HMO/PRO criteria, standards and requirements. Prefer a working knowledge of/or previous experience in Utilization Review with knowledge of DRG payment system, hospital finance and managed care issues. Excellent communication skills; must demonstrate a high degree of medical, clinical and nursing competence with the ability to make appropriate judgments.
EXPERIENCE Two years of clinical nursing required.
