Weirton Medical Center’s Center for Behavioral Medicine offers the following outpatient services:

individual counseling
medication management
marriage counseling
family counseling

Employee Assistance (for local businesses)

WMC’s Center for Behavioral Medicine also offers the Upper Ohio Valley’s only office-based detoxification program for those addicted to opiates. The program is for adults who are addicted to all types of opiates, including heroin, Methadone, Oxycontin, Percocet, Vicodin and Hydrocodone. Opiates are widely abused across the country and here in the Ohio Valley. The Buprenorphine Detox Program is for adults only. The Center uses the FDA-approved medication Buprenorphine and therapy by a Certified Addictions Therapist to fight the addiction of opiates. The medication and treatment are covered by most insurance.
