Outpatient Services

Cardiac Catheterization – Non-emergency cardiac catheterizations are performed in the cardiac catheterization lab on the main level of Weirton Medical Center. Hours are 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. Catheterizations are scheduled by your physician’s office. Please register in the main lobby at least one hour prior to procedure time. Center for Behavioral Medicine - The Center for Behavioral Medicine has a board-certified psychiatrist who offers outpatient treatment for individuals, couples, and families, including pharmacotherapy. The center also offers office-based Suboxone treatment for individuals with opiod dependence. Open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Located on level nine. EEG, EMG - Electroencephalograms or EEGs and electromyelograms or EMGs are performed in the Neurodiagnostic Department on level seven of Weirton Medical Center. EKG – Electrocardiograms or EKGs, echocardiograms, Holter monitors and a variety of stress tests (treadmill tests) are performed in the EKG Department on the main level of Weirton Medical Center. Hours are 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. (EKG) and 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (Echo), Monday through Friday. A physician’s order is required. Please register in the main lobby. Endoscopy - Endoscopy procedures are performed in the endoscopy suite in the outpatient department on the main level. Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Endoscopy procedures are scheduled by your physician’s office. Please register in the main lobby at least one and a half hours prior to procedure time. Home Draw Service - Offered by the Weirton Medical Center Home Health Service, the Home Draw program is available to anyone who needs to have blood drawn in the convenience of home. Dr. Krzysztof Kubicki’s Office (Chester) Lab - Lab draws are available on a walk-in basis in the office of Dr. Krzysztof Kubicki located at 101 California Avenue in Chester. Open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Closed on Tuesday. Call 304-387-2761 for more information.


Dr. Cherian John’s Office (Burgettstown) Lab - Services are available on a walk-in basis from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Dr. Stephen Mascio’s Office (Follansbee) Lab/X-ray - Services are available on a walk-in basis from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday. Landmark Building (Weirton) Lab/X-ray – Services are available on a walk-in basis Monday through Friday: blood draws from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and x-rays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Located at 3045 Pennsylvania Avenue in Weirton. Medical Office Building (Weirton) Lab/X-ray – Services are available on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Suite 503 of the Medical Office Building at the Weirton Medical Center. A physician’s order is required. Call 304-797-6453 for more information.


New Cumberland Medical Care/Lab - Services are available on a walk-in basis from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Located at 623 N. Chester Street in New Cumberland. Call 304-564-5617 for more information.

Pain Center - The Pain Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located on the fifth floor of the Medical Office Building at the Weirton Medical Center. Call for an appointment during office hours at 304-797-6595 or 1-800-WMC-PAIN. A physician referral and appointment are required.


Radiology – The Radiology Department offers a wide range of tests in different modalities such as CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, digital mammography and x-ray. Testing times vary. Rehabilitation Services - The Rehabilitation Services Department of Weirton Medical Center, including physical and occupational rehabilitation and speech therapy, is open to outpatients on Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Friday from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. A physician referral and appointment are required. Same Day Surgery - Outpatient surgery is offered through our Same Day Surgery Center located on the main level of Weirton Medical Center. Hours are 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Surgery is scheduled by your physician’s office. If you have not preregistered, please register in the main lobby at least two hours prior to surgery time. If you are preregistered, go directly to waiting area in the Atrium Lobby. Family waiting is available in the Atrium with a coffee bar and wireless Internet service. Weirton Sleep Lab - Located in Suite 514 of the Medical Office Building at Weirton Medical Center, the Weirton Sleep Lab is operated by Center Pointe Sleep Associates. Sleep studies are conducted overnight. A physician referral and appointment are required. Call 1-800-249-1445.


Wellness – The Weirton Medical Center Wellness Office offers a number of screenings and health programs at different times throughout the year. Free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings are offered in the Atrium lobby monthly on the first Monday (except on holidays – following Monday) from 10 a.m. to noon in partnership with Tri-State Pharmacy.


WMC Outpatient Lab - Services are available on a walk-in basis from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, and 7 a.m. to noon on Sunday. Wound Treatment Center - The Wound Treatment Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on level one of the Weirton Medical Center. Call during office hours at 304-797-6614 or 1-800-753-0464. A physician’s referral is not required by the Wound Treatment Center, but may be required by your insurance. Patients are seen by appointment only.
